We are pleased to announce the expansion of our Regiomaster product line with the launch of the new BDR5, a next-generation drive axle tyre which will be available in three key sizes – 295/80R22.5, 315/70R22.5 and 315/80R22.5.
Bandvulc BDR5
Specifically developed to replace the current BDE1, the BDR5 is designed for national and regional fleet customers, delivering reliable performance for long-distance and regional transport operations. As the first directional tyre in the Regiomaster range, it offers enhanced handling, stability and efficiency in all driving conditions.
Engineered for lasting mileage.
BDR5 is built to maximise tyre life and minimise operating costs. A self-stabilising rib-block tread pattern provides excellent traction, resulting in significantly increased mileage. The tread’s innovative groove-sipe system, incorporating advanced 3D-sipes and an enlarged footprint, maintains traction and adaptability throughout its service life, helping fleets achieve dependable whole-life cost savings.
All-weather traction and efficiency
The directional tread pattern has been optimised to enhance grip on both wet and dry surfaces, with multiple gripping edges and efficient water dispersion channels. Together, these features ensure consistent traction, superior handling and greater driver confidence. The enlarged footprint area not only boosts stability but also provides fuel-saving benefits, reinforcing the tyre’s suitability for fleets seeking dependable, cost-efficient performance.
Durability through innovation
At the heart of the BDR5 is our balanced polymer rubber compound, developed in-house to deliver exceptional thermal resistance and reduced heat build-up. This ensures dependable on- and off-road versatility, with added protection against premature wear and damage. The result is a robust, long-lasting tyre that delivers sustained performance across diverse transport applications.

The new BDR5 drive tyre is available now in a 295/80R22.5 and 315/70R22.5 tyre size, with the 315/80R22.5 following later this year.
