This weekend some of our Bandvulc employees have been putting themselves through the pain barrier to raise as much money they can for various deserving charities. Between them they have managed to raise a massive £1400.00 for St. Lukes Hospice, Marie Curie & Cancer Research UK.
Ian & Ben Supporting St. Lukes & Marie Curie
Now you see them…
Now you don’t….!
First up was Ian Harris & Ben West who on Saturday night took on the challenge of a 100km moonlit cycle ride in aid of St. Lukes Hospice & Marie Curie. It was a tough ask, but they both successfully completed the challenge in 5 hours 22 mins. Ian Harris commented “It was a great cycle with a lot of climbing up the killer Cornish hills but we really enjoyed it.”, Ian then went on to add “The water stops at Dobwalls and Seaton were most welcome and overall it was a really well organised event and all the volunteers were very cheerful & helpful.”
This is their route from the evening:
There’s still time to support Ian & Ben for these great causes, pop along to their Just Giving page and donate – every little helps!
Lou, Sophie, Family & Friends Supporting Cancer Research UK
Louise & Sophie both took on running Race for Life yesterday Sunday 19th June in aid of Cancer Research. Their efforts have seen them raise a huge £800.00 for the charity close to their hearts.
Louise commented “Our brave mum and beautiful friend bravely fought breast cancer. We are all very proud of her and what she has had to go through. Shes such a strong inspirational women who didn’t let it beat her. We want to try and raise money to help Cancer Research to help others.”.
There’s still time to support Lou & Sophie for this fantastic cause, so pop along to their Just Giving page and donate.
