Bandvulc are the only retreader in the UK with its own in-house rubber mixing and development capability – Bandvulc Mixing.
Bandvulc Mixing (BVM) was born in 1980 purely to supply Bandvulc Tyres with freshly manufactured rubber compound. Having the mixing plant adjacent to the tyre factory meant response times and compound development would be more efficient and remain unique to Bandvulc’s product range.
All rubber compound elements have been designed and manufactured to cover each vehicle application and for specialist applications such as waste industry tyres as well as bespoke sidewall and repair compounds.
Many of the compounds used at Bandvulc incorporate reclaimed tyre crumb demonstrating Bandvulc’s ongoing commitment to the environment at every opportunity throughout the retreading process.
