We’re pleased to announce that we have been awarded the accreditation from SafeContractor for our ongoing commitment to achieving excellence in health and safety. Our application for the SafeContractor accreditation was driven by the need for a uniform standard across the business and to protect our employees and those of our customers.
The SafeContractor scheme is used by many large organisations as a way of identifying a suitable and competent contractor. With more than 210 major clients and over 20,000 contractor members, SafeContractor is one of the fastest growing health and safety assessment schemes in the UK.
Our Health & Safety Manager, Rob Atkinson, had this to say about achieving the accreditation:

SafeContractor is a leading third party accreditation scheme, which recognises high standards in health and safety management amongst UK contractors. Large organisations cannot take the risk of employing a contractor that is unable to demonstrate a high standard of working. The accreditation will serve to reassure any potential clients that we understand the importance and value of adopting good risk management strategy.
In order to become an accredited SafeContractor we had to undergo a rigorous desktop audit, with the process starting with a comprehensive questionnaire and once submitted an auditor decided whether our risk management processes are satisfactory and sufficient for our work activities.
This latest accreditation adds yet another dimension to the service we at Bandvulc can provide and ensures that our partners can rest assured that they are getting the best possible service when working with us.
