In 2014 Tructyre embarked on an aggressive 3 year business plan following on from their acquisition of P K Commercial Tyres in 2012. When the plan
was instigated it was key that their strategic partners were on board. Already enjoying a strong relationship with Bandvulc, which had grown over the
previous 10 years involving collaboration on many innovative ideas, the relationship has flourished even further in the last 3 years with proactive
initiatives in distribution, product (launch of Tructyre’s Re-Trak range), tyre management and service.
In recognition of this Bandvulc was presented with Tructyre’s Strategic Partner Award in February 2017 and Glenn Sherwood, MD of the Tructyre Group of Companies commented; “We are delighted with the outcome of our 3 year plan, despite quite often difficult political, global and economic challenges. The success of this, apart from our own associates, would not have been possible without our Strategic Business Partners, and we thank Bandvulc for their support over this time and look forward to continued developments in the future”.
