As the COVID-19 outbreak continues to take hold Bandvulc has stringent measures in place to reduce risks to all concerned and is monitoring the situation daily.
Currently all foreign travel is cancelled and any UK-based meetings are on a business critical basis only. Furthermore, such plans are being monitored by our parent company, Continental Tyres, who will make the final decision on which meetings take place. (Furthermore, all business flight travel internally or externally has been prohibited).
The business critical emphasis also applies to visitors to Bandvulc’s offices. We would kindly request that you defer visiting if any of the following apply:
- You are experiencing a cough, fever or shortness of breath. (Government guidelines in this situation are as follows: https://www.gov.uk/government/topical-events/coronavirus-covid-19-uk-government-response).
- You have been in contact with anyone who is suspected of/confirmed as having Covid-19 in the last 14 days.
- You have, in the last 14 days, travelled to/from/through any country subject to Public Health England
- You have been in contact with anyone who has travelled to/from/through any country subject to Public Health England
If none of the above apply and you are planning to visit our premises we kindly ask that hand-washing/sanitiser is used on entering the building, and again before and after any factory tour. Meetings will only take place when absolutely necessary, numbers will be kept to a minimum and individuals will be requested to sit at at least 1m apart. Hand sanitiser will also be provided for use before and after the meeting.
Bandvulc already has contingency plans in place should the situation arise where personnel need to work from home or via our separate Disaster Recovery Suite, to ensure business continuity.
