It was more than 10 years since his last visit and Gary was impressed with how much bigger the company had grown and the level of automation and efficiency within the plant. He visits many local factories and particularly noted the level of organisation and professionalism across Bandvulc’s.
Following the tour we took him through an RMA presentation about the impact of Chinese imports on the retread market, which was of great interest to him. We then discussed various options to support UK retread production and he agreed to join a wider group of MPs meeting at Westminster on the 27th February to discuss this further.
