Environmental Policy
  
 

As a recycling and manufacturing company, the Bandvulc Group recognises the impacts its processes, transport and offices have on the environment.

The main impacts have been identified as being:

  • Energy consumption
  • Waste generation
  • Pollution (fuel consumption)

Bandvulc's Environmental Policy is therefore as follows:

  1.  We will comply with the spirit, as well as the letter of environmental legislation and approved codes of practice and will co-operate fully and maintain open relationships with all regulatory authorities. 

  2. We will foster an understanding of the environmental issues arising from our business activities amongst our employees, suppliers, contractors, customers and also within the local community.

  3. We aim to continually reduce the environmental impact of our activities, both by lessening the use of all materials, fuel, supplies and energy and, wherever possible, by using renewable or recyclable materials and components.

  4. We will communicate our Environmental Policy to all our staff, contractors & suppliers, as well as making it available to the general public.

  5. Through company training programs we will do our best to encourage and inform our employees to conduct their daily work practices in a safe and environmentally responsible way.

  6. We will assess and review our work practices and safety policy to make sure that any accidental release of any pollutants is contained and contamination of the local environment prevented.

  7. We enforce a strict policy of correct hazardous waste disposal using only competent, authorised agencies.

  8. We will regularly hold Top Management meetings in which we will discuss and review the Environmental Policy, Objectives & Targets and other environmental issues.
